Medigap Plan F provides the broadest coverage of the 10 standard Medigap plans and is the most popular of the plans with 50% of covered lives. Costs such as the deductibles for Medicare hospitalization (Part A) and medical services (Part B) are covered by Plan F.

Plan F also offers a high-deductible plan. If you choose this option, this means you must pay for Medicare-covered costs up to the deductible amount of $2,160 in 2016 before your Medigap plan pays anything.
