Must be a Montana resident and a U.S. citizen or a legal alien. Income limits: Pregnant women: 150% Federal Poverty Level (FPL) with asset limit of $3,000. Children under age 19: 133% Federal Poverty Level (FPL). Parents/caretakers living with children age 0 to 18: 56% Federal Poverty Level (FPL) Aged, blind, and disabled: 75% Federal Poverty Level (FPL) with asset limit of $2,000 for individuals and 83% Federal Poverty Level (FPL) of with asset limit of $3,000 for couples Medically-needy: $625 per month, with asset limit of $2,000 for individuals and $3,000 for couples.
Coverage includes doctor visits, inpatient and outpatient hospital services, mental health and substance abuse care, nurse, dentist, optometrist, prescription drug coverage, physical therapy, durable medical equipment and devices, preventive care, diagnostic services, x-ray, lab tests, home health services (e.g. nursing services, home health aides, etc.). Pre-existing health conditions are covered.
$0 to $5 co-pays and prescription drug costs capped at $25 per month. $100 per admission in hospital (excluding mental institutions)
